The Sylens
The sylens are a race of beings that came to earth via the meteor that obliterated the dinosaurs. Very little is known about them. For instance, no one knows where they came from, or what their purpose here is. It is speculated that they feed off the energy expelled before something dies. There appear to be a set number of them that have existed from the time of their arrival until now. However, in the modern age, they appear much less frequently, and are believed to be dying out.
